We stayed at Parisgaja in Maisons-Alfort and had a pleasant experience. the staff were incredibly friendly and went out of their way to assist us. the hostel beds were relatively comfortable and the overall cleanliness was satisfactory. Although the environment was a bit peculiar, we were not easily bothered and found it to be a fine place to stay. the location was convenient and affordable, making it a good option for those looking to stay close to Paris. the owners were nonconfrontational and there was a cleaning lady who attended to the hostel daily.

Plus, the location was ideal - just a short walk from the metro station, making it super convenient to explore the city. We also enjoyed the calm and peaceful neighborhood, away from the hustle and bustle of the city center.

the communication with the staff was a bit challenging as they only spoke Korean, but we managed to get by with some basic gestures and Google Translate. the bathroom facilities were not up to par, as the showers were often dirty and the toilets were quite cramped.
